Usually when I go to LA I’m actually going to suburbs in LA county that remind me of home (suburbs near SF), closer to Irvine than LA itself… but this time, I actually went to Los Angeles. The city of Los Angeles, for real.

Or, well, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Koreatown… the city of LA is so big, so much more ground to cover! Can’t wait to visit again– anywhere in LA county or the city itself ;)

And Union Station and the train ride back to San Diego itself? A whole other story!

Phenomenal vegan food (first time eating tempeh and I am officially converted!), good and cheap ice cream cookie sandwiches, authentic Korean food.
